The Honest Truth

Sad yet fun, this book is about a boy who had cancer from the age of 5 and still has it to the age of 12.

The boy, named Mark, has been battling cancer for 7 years. Many times, he could have died, but he made it through because of his will to live. Finally, it seemed like he was cured until a relapse happened after one year. Mark tries to climb Mt. Rainer after a promise to his grandfather that he will climb it. Mark secretly travels when his mother and father are out and moves towards Mt. Rainer. He reaches the top and falls asleep while his dog goes back down the mountain to find people to help him.

Mark is out in the cold and it seems that he wants to die. After all, he hasn't lived the best life.
