The Running Dream is about a girl who is part of a track team. Her life is track and her favorite thing to do is track. One day, on her way back home in a bus, she got in an accident. During the accident she lost a leg, which led her to believe that her life was over. Her friends encourage her and try to gather enough money to buy her a fake running leg, one that she could use to find in one year. With this she became happy and hopeful, wishing to run in one year only to find out that it cost 20,000 dollars. She believed it was impossible, as it took three years before to gather 2,000.
